Standard Warranty

Each lens order comes with a 1-year, 1-time replacement warranty, from the original purchase date which covers manufacturing defects and other imperfections related to the lens-cutting process. Please note that normal wear and tear such as scratches are not valid for a warranty replacement.

Scratch Insurance

Increase your warranty benefits with scratch insurance. This includes a lifetime, 1-time replacement guarantee. It doesn’t matter if something happens today, tomorrow, or 5 years from now — we’ve got you covered. Scratch insurance is not available for custom prescription lenses.

Pro Install

By participating in the Apex Pro Install Program, you acknowledge the associated risks. While we strive to manage each order with care, there is a possibility of your frame being lost or damaged. Should this occur, we will offer a replacement frame. If a suitable replacement is unavailable, you will receive a stipend for the current value of your sunglasses, up to $300.


We offer a 30-day guarantee for all lens purchases. If you are not happy with your product, you can exchange or return it for a full refund minus any shipping and handling fees. To ensure a smooth and trouble-free return process, please ensure that your item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it. Please note that custom lens orders, prescriptions, and professional installations are not eligible for returns.

Our prescription lenses were custom-created just for you, with your prescription. If you decide on another color or lens option, the lenses have to be recreated from scratch. Prescription lenses are final sale and excluded from returns. Nevertheless, we’re always here to help out when needed. Please contact us for further assistance.

Gift cards and items returned more than 30 days from the purchase date are ineligible for returns. For custom lens orders, the processing and shipping fee is non-refundable. For items sold as part of a bundle, a partial return may be granted. The refund amount will be equal to the value of the returned product, based on the discounted “bundle” price paid. Apex Lenses monitors return activity for abuse and reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges. To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.

Please get in touch with us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending the items back. For U.S. orders, our friendly customer service team will provide you with a return label. Any shipping fees will be non-refundable if you decide to send the item back using your own postage. We sincerely regret that we are currently unable to provide international return labels.


We understand that sometimes customers may need to exchange their lenses due to incorrect prescription or other issues. Therefore, we have a flexible exchange policy that allows customers to exchange their lenses within 30 days of purchase.

To initiate an exchange, customers must contact our customer service team and provide proof of purchase. Our team will then provide instructions on how to return the lenses and process the exchange.

We do not offer refunds for exchanged lenses, but customers can choose to receive a store credit that can be used towards future purchases.

Please note that the exchange policy only applies to lenses that have not been used, damaged, or altered in any way. We reserve the right to deny an exchange request if the lenses do not meet the criteria mentioned above.
